October Favourites

Friday, 4 November 2016

Well it has been a while since I have done a monthly favourites as life has just taken over but I am back today with my October Favourites. So keep on reading to find out what I have been loving for the month of October...

First up my go to blush of the last couple of months has been Benefit Dandelion*, I have a full review here of the dandelion products. This blush is just one of those gorgeous light shades that is perfect for everyday wear and so nice on pale/light skin. The Maybelline Master Contour palette has been another product I have been reaching for on most days, this little palette contains a blush, bronzer and a highlight all in one great compact. All the powders are really nice on and blend out with ease and the highlight is subtle but very pretty. Cherry Blooms Mineral Fiber Brows* has been what I have been using on my brows this past month it is a brow powder that has little fibers in it that cling to your natural brow hairs to give them that fuller look. It is very easy to use and very pigmented so a little goes a long way with this product.

Urban Decay One & Done has been another great product for the past couple of months, you all know how I love a nice light base for everyday wear and this foundation is just perfect for everyday wear. It has a nice finish on the skin and sinks in so well it just makes your natural skin look so good and with added skincare benefits it just makes this product so much better in my opinion. L'Oreal Infallible Fixing Mist* now I have seen a lot of mixed reviews on this fixing mist and how people have said that it leaves white dots on their skin but I am here to tell you I absolutely love this fixing mist! If you shake this up right before you use it you will not get any white dots or marks left on your skin when it drys and for me with my oily skin it has been a great makeup setting spray. This mist seems to help keep my oil down during the day and help my makeup last longer, I apply it liberally over my finished makeup as to lock it down for the day. It will be a repurchase for me as I really did love the way it prolonged my makeup.

Last couple of products are fragrances, Evodia Daintree Mango & Pink Grapefruit Body Mist* this body mist is just summer in a bottle it smells so good and fresh and has been my weekend scent of late. It is not a strong in your face scent it is defiantly more on the light side and is perfect for the warmer weather, I really suggest having a smell of this body mist it is just lovely. Last but not least Calvin Klein's CK1* perfume has been another perfume I have been rocking the month of October, it is such a beautiful scent that I think fits in well with the warmer weather as well. I am hopeless at describing scents so I will not try to do that just go have a sniff of it and see if you fall in love like I have.

Well that is it for me for now and I hope everyone had a great October, please leave me a comment of what your favourite products were from October.

* Products were gifted to me for consideration, all opinions are my own and I will always give my honest opinion.

  3. I am always willing to try a new foundation - especially with the change in seasons. A light base doesn't sound too bad! I always opt for something a little heavier, but hey, new season new foundation, right? ;)

  10. Great favourites Nicole! So funny we both picked the Dandelion blush as our favourite this month! I'm not that pale but I like being able to build it up and it looks so natural. I really like the L'Oreal mist too and it doesn't leave any white dots for me! The Evodia mist sounds so nice. I haven't heard of the brand before but I'll have to check them out!
