Benefit Dandelion

Monday, 17 October 2016

I seem to have been on a bit of a Benefit binge of late, I recently spoke about hoola here and now I am going to tell you about the dandelion products from Benefit. I have been trying out three products from the dandelion range the original boxed dandelion blush, Dandelion Dew (cream blush) and dandelion shy beam a liquid highlighter...

First up the original boxed dandelion blush, this blush is a perfect everyday blush that just gives you a light blushed look. The shade is very pretty and looks lovely on my light skin without making me look like I have been hit in the face (haha). The powder is super fine and just blends into the skin seamlessly. It really is a perfect everyday colour and one that I have been reaching for on the daily.

Dandelion Dew is the new cream version of the boxed blush and has the same great shade that is perfect for everyday wear (specially on us lighter skin tone gals). The cream blush is super easy to apply and makes for an even more natural glow then the powder. I use my beauty blender to just dab it onto my cheeks and blend out. The cream blush is going to be perfect for summer and when you are wanting to achieve that no makeup makeup.

Last but not least the Dandelion Shy Beam which is a liquid highlighter. I found this highlighter to be beautiful and very subtle when on, it doesn't give you a huge highlight but it does give you a more subdued glow to your skin and like I mentioned above would be more suited to a no makeup makeup look or an everyday highlight that you want to look that bit more natural. I apply this little baby the same as the dandelion dew and just use a wet sponge and dab and blend it in.

Overall the dandelion collection from Benefit would have to be one of my favourites and a product that I would repurchase again and again. I personally love dandelion for everyday wear as I tend to stick to more natural makeup and I love how all these products look perfectly natural on my skin.

Have you tried Benefit's Dandelion products? What are your thoughts?

* Products were gifted to me for consideration, all opinions are my own and I will always give my honest opinion.

  1. With the change in season, I am looking for new makeup! All of these products sound great, but I am really interested in trying the highlighter. It's so hard to find an everyday highlighter + this one might be it!

  2. I've tried the Dandelion powder and I love it! It's not my favorite Benefit blush but it's certainly good for everyday. I'd like to try the cream version as well!

  6. I actually didn't realise Benefit had so many Dandelion products! Love the idea of shy beam as I prefer my highlight to be a subtle rather than obvious!
