YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint Foundation

YSL would have to be my favourite makeup brand not only do they have beautifully packaged products everything I have tried from them has not disappointed. I have wanted to get a foundation from them for ages and I finally had the chance and picked up their Touche Eclat Le Teint Foundation. So today I am here to review it for you all...

I have been using this foundation for a while now and can safely say that it beautiful on the skin, it has a very easy buildable coverage that doesn't get cakey and sets like a semi matte but with a gorgeous glow to it. I had no issues with application when I used my makeup sponge and it covered all my redness and marks on my skin while still feeling lightweight and looking like skin. It does has a bit of a scent to it so if you are not one for fragrance in your foundation I do suggest you test it out before you purchase. I picked up the shade BR20 (Cool Ivory) and even though my hand looks super red above (don't know what happened there) it is a perfect match for my skin tone.

The foundation comes in a glass bottle with a pump for easy application. The bottle is very sturdy and luxurious which is what I love about YSL products. It lasted all day on my oily skin (8 hours with a primer & powder) and didn't move around or start to slip off my face but I did have to powder throughout the day. Overall I have been loving this foundation so much and it is a product that I would be happy to repurchase.

Whats your favourite high end foundation?

  2. I've noticed you've been using this a lot in your photos on Instagram lately and wondered how you have been liking it. Im yet to try any YSL products but they all look so lovely. I haven't got a real lot of Highend foundations but my current fave is the Nars Sheer Glow.

    1. Ohh I think normal it would be alright but it may cling to some dry patches, I would recommend getting a sample if you are able to.

  6. I love the packaging of YSL products as well, I think the glass bottle gives it such a luxurious touch. I tried a YSL foundation a few years ago and it looked horrible on my skin so I'm a little nervous to try another from them to be honest! Love that this works so well for you though :)
