May Favourites

Well with another month coming to an end it has to be favourites time and May was a great month for me as I picked up lots of great new products to try out and fall in love with. I found it hard to narrow it down to just a few products but I managed to get it to 7 beauty bits that I have loving...

In the month of May I found two new foundations that I have fallen in love with the first being the Youngblood Loose Mineral Foundation. I never thought I would love a loose foundation like I do with this Youngblood one it has quickly become my go to and the one I pick to wear on a daily basis. It is super easy and quick to use and has a beautiful medium coverage to it with a nice sheen once applied. It never looks cakey and I haven't had much trouble/mess with the application. It lasts all day on my super oily skin (with a primer and setting spray) and does not move around during the day. I cannot rave about this foundation enough it really has become a favourite of mine and a new holy grail foundation for me.

The second foundation find for me was the YSL Touche Eclat Le Teint Foundation, I have been wanting to try a YSL foundation for so long and was pretty pleased when I finally took the plunge and picked up this foundation. I don't want to go into to much detail about this one as I am planning on doing a review on it but it has a medium coverage that is lightweight on the skin and it sinks in beautifully once applied. The Pixi By Petra Makeup Fixing Mist is another favourite I have been loving it has a really nice scent to it which I cannot pick what it actually is. I have been using it on top of my finished makeup to settle everything down and help it to last a bit longer.

With the cooler weather coming I have noticed that my skin has not been to happy with the change and my hands have started to feel the cold and dry out on me so I picked up the Jojoba Lemon & Coconut Hand Cream to help with this situation. The scent of this is super light and so nice it doesn't leave my hands feeling greasy and soaks into my skin really quickly, this will defiantly be a repurchase product for me and a handbag essential. The Rimmel London Volume Colourist Mascara* is anther great find for the month it has been my go to mascara. I have a post on this mascara here.The Too Faced Peanut butter and Jelly Palette was more of an impulse purchase that I got as I kept seeing it everywhere and just needed it! I am so glad that I did cave and purchase this palette as the shadows are super buttery and easy to blend plus it smells so bloody good!!!

Last but not least the Lancome Juicy Shaker in Boom-Meringue, It has been a go to for my lips I love the light vanilla smell and the sheerness of the colour plus the oil is lovely on the lips. I wouldn't say that these are overly moisturising as the oil didn't last very long on my lips but it would have helped a bit. It is super comfortable to wear and it has a gorgeous sheen to it once applied. These are really the no fuss lip product for everyday and I cannot wait to get my hands on a few more shades.
