L'Oreal Infallible 24hr Matte Foundation

So much hype around this foundation from the get go, and I myself had read everything about it got fully caught up in the hype and couldn't wait for it to arrive at my local Priceline to grab it and hopefully have it solve all my oily girl problems. So did it actually live up to the hype?...

I will mention again, I have really oily skin specially in my t-zone. I always wear a primer and set my makeup with a finishing spray and It was no different with this foundation. I had picked up the matching primer to give ago with it and found that the primer is different to any other I have tried and I have tried a fair amount (Check out my primers Here) it is silicone based but it has kind of an oily texture to it, it smooths over the skin perfectly (I hate the way it feels on my hands though haha) and doesn't have an oily feel when on the face.

The foundation applied great, I used my RT sponge to apply and it has a semi-matte sort of finish. I do at the moment have a few breakouts around my chin area and I will say that it didn't sit very well over these dry patches. Usually with any other foundation I use I have an oily nose within the first two hours of application and with this foundation I didn't need to blot any excess oil until after three to four hours of wear! That is huge for me in a foundation. I'm so impressed with this foundation and the way it wears on my oily skin it's defiantly one of the best ones I have tried for oily skin.

• Sand is a tad dark for me but it was the only one my local Priceline had that was close enough to my skin tone.

I would have loved a more variety of colour selections in this foundation as it is pretty limited and all seem to be very pink based but I will take what I can get. I have now found my go to everyday foundation that I know will last me all day and doesn't cost me an arm and a leg. If your an oily gal like me I highly suggest you go pick up this foundation it has impressed me so much and I'm really happy that I found something that does last and I don't have to be blotting all day long.

Would love to know how you went with the foundation or if your planning on buying it.
