Best of 2014

Monday, 2 February 2015

Well I'm a bit late on this but it's always better late than never in my books. So 2014 was a good year for me and I found some great new products that I absolutely love...

Trying to narrow it down to just a few was hard but here are the few stand out items for me that I'm glad I found.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Palette - A very well hyped about product in 2014 and I can fully understand why this palette is gorgeous to look at and to use the powders are so finely milled and sit on the skin beautifully.

Hourglass Ambient Lighting Blush Palette - Just like its sister this blush palette couldn't be any more perfect and I'm so happy I picked it up and it has been very well loved and will continue to be.

Mac Paint Pot in Groundwork - Just the perfect natural brown for all over the lid. I usually where this on its own just for a bit of colour and also under shadows to help them last longer and also to help them stand out.

Innoxa Renew Age Erase Serum Foundation - I have been loving this foundation so much it just sinks into my skin and last all day for me it just looks flawless and you can hardly tell that I'm wearing anything at all.

Bare Minerals Lash Domination - Love this mascara it has been my go to for a while now it just gives me longer thicker looking lashes without making them feel heavy and clumpy.

MAC Lipstick in Brave - Perfect everyday colour and the formula is so creamy.

Essence Lip Liner in In The Nude - I have been pairing this with MAC lipstick Brave and loving it also I wear it on its own. These lip liners are so creamy they glide on so easy and effortlessly.

L'Oreal Brow Artist Plumper - Brows were everything last year and like usual I'm pretty slack at jumping on the band wagon so I just casually started checking out brow gels near the end of the year and fell in love with them. This L'Oreal one has been the best I have found so far it just adds a bit of colour and keeps them in place without making them feel crunchy.

YSL Rouge Volupte Shine Lipstick - I have been wanting to get some of these lipsticks for ages as I love YSL and the packaging is just stunning! So finally I caved and picked up a couple last year and cannot wait to get more as they are so beautiful and go on easy and are glossy at the same time.

MAC Prep & Prime Translucent powder - This stuff has been living in my handbag it's the perfect touch up powder for my oily skin. The powder is so fine it doesn't make my skin look powdery and it takes away the shine.

Would love to know what made your 2014 favourites list and I would love suggestions on more brow products I should check out in this new year?
